Mindfulness workshop for beginners 12-3PM

Themes:

  • What is mindfulness?
  • What is stress and how does stress affect the body and mind?
  • Research about mindfulness and health
  • How mindfulness tools can help us meet stress with more ease and wisdom
  • Guided instruction awareness of the breath and sounds meditation
  • Guided instruction in standing mindful movements
  • Practice a short body scan meditation
  • Group dialog and discussion to enhance awareness in everyday life

Time: 12PM-3PM Friday November 29

Donation: 10 KD or 15KD. The entire donation will go to my friend Laura in Kuwait. She will use the donation to save some abounded dogs which she is fostering in her home and find them a loving, safe home abroad.

The school is a short walking distance from my house (150 meter).

The house where I live are part of Salam villas and the terraced houses are white with black gates.

What to bring: Kindly bring a water bottle.

What to wear: comfortable loose fitting clothes.
